I know the nVidia cards, and which is best and stuff, like this:

6600
6600GT
6800
6800GT
6800Ultra
7800GTX

But what about the ATi ones? Can someone post the nVidia list like that^, but put the equivalent ATi cards next to each one?

Oh yeah I didn't notice that, thanks! LOL I'm an idiot!

So which one should I go for (out of the two cards in my previous post)?

Well, the second card you linked is a x800xl, which is more equivalent to a 6800gt, I'd be surprised if you can get it for the same price...

If you mean the 6600gt or the x800 vanilla, then I'd get the x800 because it's faster, unless you absolutely must have SM3 capabilities, then get the 6600gt.

What a mess, anything to confuse the hell out of the customer I guess.

Yeah, I might have even missed a few rare ones like the x850pro. I'm not sure where than one falls. Anyway, the only Ati cards that are a good buy right now is the x800 and the x800xl. The others are nice if you can get em cheap, but I dont think a $400 x850xt pe is worth buying at this point

No I didn't mean the top one, I meant the one 5th from the bottom (PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail), that costs £111.57. Would that be better than the XFX GeForce PCX6600 GT Extreme Gamers Edition 128MB DDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail, which costs more (£123.32)? Thanks
