I'm a noob when it comes to the options in catalyst control center. Can anyone tell me which 3D settings actually mean anything? As far as I can tell, Adaptive AA and Catalyst AI are meaningless in terms of quality. Do they make a performance difference I don't know about?

Basically, I'd like to know anything you can tell me on this subject so I can get my card settings nice.

Obviously, I may have to tweak depending on the game. 1680x1050 is my resolution, if that makes a difference to any of this.

Catalyst AI increases performance in some games in some situations without any noticeable drawbacks by using driver optimizations. There's no reason not to set it to advanced. Adaptive AA is just an even higher quality(but also slower) form of anti aliasing that will make things like fences in games look better.(Normal AA won't)
