I recently purchased a 2nd monitor for home which I hooked up to the VGA port of my Radeon x800 AiW.

I have 2 monitors at work and use nView to do things such as extend the taskbar across both monitors, stretch a picture between the two, window slinging, and other things.

Does ATi offer a similar set of tools for multiple displays?

Exactly what do you want to do?

CCC does everything i need for my dual LCD view setup ... i also used to have nView with my 8800-GTS640 - and before Cat 8.2, i liked nView a LOT better ... CCC is catching up

At a minimum, I'd love to stretch my taskbar across both monitors. I didn't even see that in CCC. Was the ability recently added?

i have done that ... but i don't usually do it that way for myself ...
i can't tell you off the top of my head as i have single display AtM.
... and i haven't even really set it up since i got Xfire except to test it

after i get back from work, i will set up my 2nd LCD and run thru it for you if no one replies by then

Thanks! If hydravision doesn't do what I'm wanting, I'll try out ultramon.

I thought hydravision was just their moniker for having 2 video ports on a card.

Hydravision won't expand the taskbar across both monitors. I'll try Ultramon when my wife loosens my credit card privileges. :)

i think it has a demo, if not there are always other places to get it. As long as you pay for it eventually...
