ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT

My new PC came with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT (256MB DDRII VRAM). I wanted to know how this is for gaming (DirectX 9.0c and DirectX 10 games)?

Not to good. Download some demos and find out for yourself, steam has a lot of good free ones.

I hope it'll be able to handle DirectX 9.0c games on medium settings?
I just read about it on the internet and think it supports DirectX 9.0 and DirectX 10 games.

Its not the fastest graphics card by a long shot, maybe meduim on most games, but you might have to go down to low depending on the resolution which you play games at

yes it will support directx9, and directx10

Oh, okay. I was using a Nividia Geforce 7300GT (512MB) on my other PC. I guess the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT is better than that?

The 2400xT is probably a bit better than a 7300GT, but don't expect to play recent games at decent settings.
