Ati Mobility Radeon 9600 Driver issue

I have an eMachines M6810 with the mobile 9600. I cannot use the regular drivers, I don't know why. When I try to install the drivers it says I do not have a radeon installed. Where do I get the mobile specific drivers. I tried google, but all the drivers failed for random reasons. Thank you.
 
I have the M6810 with radeon 9600 built in. I use omega drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Also, you can extract the driver from the restore cd that came with the system.

:edit: I forgot to mention that the regular ati drivers do not apply to their mobile parts. In their notes they have a disclaimer that directs you to the manufacturer website.
