x300 = 30$?

The x300 will outperform the x200m by a fair margin in normal cases.

so it will be wiser choice to get x300 over x200m.. even though i have to pay $100 more?

$100 more?!?! I personally woudl go with the xpress 200 as there is a very small performance difference. What setup are you looking at?

before I go on with this thread, let me just remind you guys that this is for the LapTop.

I do not have much of a choice..

x300 is PCI-e
xpress 200 m is Integrated

both has independent memory of 128mb.

and from what i heard, x300 is upgradeable to other pci-e card in the future.

Doubtful you will find a card to replace the x300 with, and if you do, it probably will not be cost effective. The x300 may be slightly better, but I dont think its significantly better (I could be wrong). And if the upgrade to x300 is $100, I'd stick with the xpress.

Can't you read? He said it's for a laptop and even linked to the MOBILITY RADEON X300. Only the most expensive laptops have user-replaceable graphics, so I doubt he's getting a Dell XPS or Alienware.
