Ati Mobile Drivers W7 64 bit?

Does ATI make drivers for laptop video cards? Does anyone have a direct link to them, I can't seem to find them. Is it just the regular desktop 10.4 drivers that have the INF in their for mobile cards?

Thanks

I looked, what type of GPU?

Amd.com, under the download drivers I went Graphics -> Win7 64 bit -> Mobility Radeon. From there you have options for Radeon 2000 series, 3000 series, 4000 series, 5000 series, and "All Other Mobility Radeon Products". It looks like the 'all other...' option sends you to manufacturer support sites though. :/

It depends on which gpu you have. Like Slowspyder just said, some of them are not supported. I had a x700 and 2300HD mobile that needed default or mfg-only drivers, ATI's wouldn't support them unless you used omegadrivers or the ati mobility modder - these aren't 100% either.

Welcome to 2010. AMD's opt out strategy ensures pretty much everyone can use the latest desktop release drivers now unless your manufacturer opt's out of AMD's scheme in which case you still need to go to the manufacturer. Specific manufacturers that have opted out (as per ATs recent Verde article) are Panasonic, Sony and Toshiba.

Download driver here. Those with older models are out of luck and will have to stick to quarterly manufacturer updates.

Yeah looks like Sony laptops opt'ed out of AMD's open source thing. I have to use ATI modder to get them to work....
