ATI MMC 7.5 released!!

Since 8500DV's are shipping the new version of MMC is on the CD, version 7.5.

MMC 7.5 available directly from ATI if you select Radeon-All-in-wonder and Windows XP on the driver page.
DVD player V.5.0 is not there yet.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is MMC? Also, how does the DVD software that comes on the Radeon CD compare to PowerDVD and WinDVD. I have the Radeon 8500, not DV, and I've been using WinDVD 3.0.

MMC 7.5 is really cool. You can capture to the windows media format. But by far the nicest thing is the transparent video when you miniminze the video.

Also, 7.5 is NOT available at ATI yet.

that's 7.2. thanks for the ftp. I just downloaded it. The cool thing is it has the DVD app. also.

It was MMC 7.5 link at ATI last night, probably they chaged link today to older version 7.2 for some reason

BTW, is FTP link still up?
