I get the normal run around from the phone drones, emails go un-answered. I should go down to their Headquarters and knock on the door and ask them. What possible reason can ATI have to not include support for the Radeon's and specially the AIW Radeon in other words no software that is Video for Windows compatible will work, NOTHING and that includes NetMeeting, Windows Media Encoder 8 any webcams, VDOPhone and a whole bunch of them. WTF is going on, how can you sell a major Capture card like this and not include support for VfW. For Gawd sakes even the AIW-128 has support for VfW.

Again I ask ATI what possible reason can they have ?

Nic, I see exactly what you are saying, but ATI seem to have decided that MPEG video was the way to go. In all honesty I cant blame them as the format is good and the card has enough power to handle it. But in saying that, VfW should have been easy to do.

Maybe in time ATI will come up with software to allow VfW capture.
