ATI is becomming a real pain in the!

I have an ATI Tv Wonder PCI, its worked perfectly fine on my Nvidia Nforce 2 SN41G2 Shuttle. a little while ago something else happened to the computer so I had to reinstal the ATI drivers! Lo and behold ATI had released their DOA package and MMC edition 8. Now whenever I try to start TV it goes, EAZYLOOK Can not be started because of out of date display drivers. Please ensure that you have installed the latest Radeon display drivers. So Im like WTF, im running on IGP here and its telling me that I need to update my drivers for video? I have some pretty recent drivers for nvidia(not the latest because those give me crapp framerate in cs and a many other games oddly enough). Im thinking it shouldnt matter who's graphics card or what drivers I have within reason. is ATI practicing anti competative tactics these days or something?

Whats even more annoying and makes me want to really knock heads at ATI is when i try to run the system compatibility test and it tells me that I should by an ATI graphics card...that reallllly pisses me off.

So if anyone has had this problem? Or knows anything about it, if they could please give me some clue as to what I should do before I start takin names...

Test result: Not a RADEON class graphics card.

Explanation: DVD and TV require a RADEON? class graphics adapter.

Recommendation: Install an ATI RADEON class graphics card.
WTH!!!!.....I was going to get a 9600 Pro, but now im not just because they write like big jerk offs.
 
I installed latest Nvidia drivers, still no dice. ATI has shown so much promise...but its little things like this that make me not want to buy their products.
 
Anybody have an Idea why its requesting me to get a radeon card? This is so much baloney...their tech support wont even answer me! -10 rating on ATI...people make a product, then make it stop work, and wont give even a tech support reply.
