ATI/Intel Problem

The problem is with my Radeon 9000 (powered by, yuck) and the intel chipset drivers. If i have the chipset drivers installed and i install the video card the boot hangs right when windows is initializing the video card. If i have just the video card drivers or just the chipset drivers installed everything works fine...
the reason i want to install the chipset drivers is b/c otherwise an SM Bus Controller and two other unknown devices won't get recognized, or drivers from windows, but i have the video card problem when they are installed cuz there are no windows drivers for it...
my Rig info is in my sig, Josh's Rig...
by the way i have tried every ati driver i could get my hands on... including the latest beta build...
basically i am asking if there is some type of setting that might be causing this problem...
thanks
Josh

no the IAA works fine... there is a chipset driver install utility on intel's website that fixes the SM Bus Controller as well as the other two "Uknown Devices" that winXP has a prob w/...
i'm working on the directX install now...

thanks

Josh

you can't reinstall directx for xp cuz there isn't a specific thing to download... it is a part of "other" updates... (this isn' the prob anyways cuz i redid the whole rig like 2 or 3 times b/c of this problem and the same thing occurred everytime...)
any other ideas?
thanks guys,
Josh

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i got it to work... i had to roll back the agp driver to the previous version... i dont' know what the problem is but the ati drivers don't like the latest intel agp driver from the INFs on their website... wow i am sooo happy... let's just hope it stays work... thank you all for your help...

Josh
