ati hdtv dongle question.

I will be using the vga to hdtv ati dongle on a 9600xt allin wonder and wanted to know if it was possible to connect the dongle to the end of a long run of svga cable instead of directly to the card? Reason I ask is my computer is about 35 feet from the tv and it would be easier and cheaper to run a svga cable to the tv and attach the dongle at that point and use a short run of component as opposed to running 35' of component cables all the way from the card. Just wanted to make sure before I ordered the cables.

No, s-video only carries 480i video signaling, and 35' might be pushing it for YPbPr as well (I use a 25' YPbPr cable though and it's fine). You might check AVSforum, I seem to recall a guide to make your own YPbPr cable which might save you a couple bucks.
