Ati hd on intel g41 s2p

I have decided to buy powercolor ati hd 5570 1gb ddr3.

my question is will my mobo g41 s2p will support this card?. it has pci x16 1.1 slot

i heard that pci e 2.1 card has issue running at 1.1 slot of specific motherboard.is that true?


please clear my doubt. can i run it on g 41 s2p?

intel pentium dual core 3.0ghz
intel g41 s2 p
4 gb ddr3 ram
windows 7 64 bit
450 w psu

If its gigabyte g41 then it will support it.
I just bought HD 7750 is working well in gigabyte g41
