ATI HD 3870 Resolution Problem

I just got my 3870 ATI card. I am new to ATI, usually use nvidia. I have two 2560x1600 monitors. However, one of the monitors won't display at 2560x1600. No matter what settings i do, the other one is smaller. It is either smaller, or i have to move the cursor around the edges to see the whole screen.

I am really hoping someone can help me with this. My exact system with same monitors worked fine on my other videocard.

Question 2: I tried to enable the fixed scaling option, but when i run an old game, it stretches to the screen instead of maintaing aspect ratio. Any ideas?

i think its ATI not pulling their finger out, i have a 7600GT that scales correctly but i also have a 1800XL that stretches everything no matter what ATI setting i use.
