Are there any IGP that support crossfire (or CrossfireX or Hybrid Crossfire or WTF it's called ;)) with an ATI 3650 graphics card?
Which chipsets?

Google only yields a ton of people asking the same question but no answers.

Nope. 34xx is the max.

Hybrid crossfire isn't worth, I have a X2 3800+@2.5GHz ,780G setup with a 3450 in hybrid crossfire and it's not much faster than using either the onboard or the 3450 on their own.

And there are no 36x0 series IGP solutions, correct?

that sucks ... why would the high end card not support crossfire with IGPs, if the low end cards (34xx) do?

the IGP's are nothing more than lower clocked 34x0 series GPU's the Highend cards far surpassed any of the capabilities the IGP's are capable of.

the IGP would restrict the crossfire considerably if used with a 36x0 card as the crossfire always uses the lowest spec card as the primary card.

The 36xx cards were never high end. They were (barely) midrange.

I think it still could have made sense to do it ... e.g. for a HTPC combined with good powersaving features on the card.
The IGP is used as the primary card, if it is not sufficient the 36xx picks up the slack.
Otherwise, it is in some form of speedstep mode and saves energy ...

Too bad.
