ATI has the dustbuster, but quiet version

OHHH!!!! still takes up 2 slots

ATi doesn't get the credit (or blame) for that design. HIS is the OEM that came up with it. It does look pretty nice as a quiet design. A good alternative to the Zalman heatpipe setups which also work quite well.

how many PCI slots do u people use??? i just use 1 for usb and 1 for sound card
Those of us with SFF systems with the AGP slot on the outside and PCI on the inside can't use a card that takes up 2 slots without a case mod. I agree that it shouldn't be a issue for the majority of ATX owners and is just nit picking.

i tried to google this card and i couldnt find any US resellers

"The HIS Excalibur 9800 Pro IceQ should be easy to find around Europe and Asia, although availability is somewhat limited in the UK ? the product has only just been released ? although they should be available to buy by the end of next week."

I don't use a single PCI slot... SoundStorm audio, 6 onboard USB 2.0 ports, 2 onboard Firewire ports, 2 onboard ethernet ports, onboard SATA... what else is there? =)

The same here but using 2 PCI holes for a double blower and another one for the smartfan II speed regulation.

I have TV tuner and a PCI modem (just sort of there should I ever need a modem).

Most nowadays don't use any, or it seems...

I am using one for an ATA controller card...

I can spare the other 5

Nice find, Rollo. Thanks for sharing. 🙂 I think that massive card is great! I never use PCI #1 slot anyway...there'd be nothing lost.

I wonder if they are going to sell the HS separately? I could put it on my 9800NP and OC the living snot out of it!

Looks like a great design in light of the noise, temps, and OCability. I'd gladly give up an unused PCI slot for all those benefits.

That is a nice 9800Pro, I wonder why US companies don't sell it or copy it? I'd rather have that by far than a Zalman; I don't think I can hear my 9800 Pro fan now, in my dead quiet basement.
