ATI Gurus - What are some reasonable o/c expectations for the 9800 Pro?

Just got my Newegg refurb 9800Pro. Presently Stock speeds. Just to help save me some time what are some reasonable starting points for overclocking this sucker?

Not far, at least with my R9800Pro. you can really only bump the memory to where it makes an effect in performance. When i pumped GPU up like 5Mhz, it resulted in artifacting. Not really a perf gain in 5Mhz anyway.

EDIT i used RadClocker

Oh really...hmm. I had a 9800NP I just returned and I got that GPU to over 400Mhz. Guess I'll have to experiment.

Well, I think that its also because so far people have only been able to really OC the Non Pros since they still have some headroom left in them. I think the Pro's have very little headroom left, and that too, is probably just for safety so when room temperatures rise 10F, the GPU or memory doesn't fry.

My thoughts exactly. Now isn't really the greatest time to upgrade your video card

Holy crap. Now that's an O/C!

BTW - I had to upgrade my video to get an LCD and be able to run games at native 1280x1024 resolutions. It only cost me $280 refurb from Newegg.

mine goes to 400/378. You've GOT to have have artifacting @ 440core. c'mon now.

No, I can run up to 450 on the core without artifacts.
