I ran into about 10 FireGL 8800's at a good price. I decided to put one of these bad boys in my system for severe bragging rights.It installed smooth ,I used the latest drivers but when rummaging through my folders on my hard drive ,it BSOD on me.Said something about the drivers getting in an infinite loop and then restarted,sorry it restarts too fast to read.
I am running WinXP with the latest ati drivers for this card.I tried disabling the ati startup items but that didnt work eather.I then tried using the drivers before that.Then the ones before those,all still the same error.
After all this I then took out all my pci cards,and started a fresh install with just the FireGL in.
I installed WinXP again,and installed all my chipset drivers,then installed the latest gfx drivers.Still ,same error.
Its not a big deal if I cant get it working,I didnt pay 900$ for it ,but i wouldnt mind having it in my system.
If anyone can give me a suggestion on what I should do or if I should just sell the lot,please by all means give me your opinions and help.
