ATi Drivers will not install on my laptop ? wteef?

I restored my laptop back to fresh install. and neither the IGP or Ati catalyst driver will install after running setup. Said

'Says did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or OS. setup will not exit'


My laptop: Acer Ferrari 4005
Video Card: ATI X700
Southbridge: ATI Xpress X200


Im using omega drivers for now but they are outdated (7.1)

CAN ANYONE PLEASE GUIDE ME

nope, can't use regular driver ... go to acer's website and get driver for your laptop.

You can find a modified .inf file. I forgot the program that will modify the .inf to enable you to install the desktop driver to your notebook.
