ATI Drivers (Quick Question)

Just wondering, would I need to reformat my computer if I recently purchased an ATI 6950 1gb? I currently own the 4850.

No; uninstall drivers.. Remove card, insert new card and install corresponding drivers.

busy depending on the card and driver the stupid driver could cause you to have to format,lol let me explain,i made the regretful purchase of a msi 6990 i download and install the latest drivers,crappy performance i go and uninstall the game and the drivers,i reboot and go to reinstall halfway thru the install,the system locks up,i do a hard reboot it refuses to boot up,no mode of f8 period got it to boot,i boxed that 6990 so fast...so yeah lol
