Ati Drivers in Suse 9.3

I do have my drivers installed and am running KDE on Suse 9.3 I am running a Mobility 9600 128M and I cannot get my 3d accel to be enabled. Any suggestions or pointers? Please no "nVidia comments" as that doesn;t solve my fvcking problems. No fanboys or whatever... I just need a honest help.
