ati driver revisions and 3dmark 2001 scores

You've got a huge bottleneck with that CPU/MB/Ram, and 3dMark2001 is very CPU dependant. That's why your score is the same when a 9700Pro should score quite more (over 16k).
 
My 3dm2k1 score is vidcard limited. At 2.4Ghz, 2.65Ghz, 2.77Ghz, and 3Ghz, I get pretty much the same score. 😛
 
I really need to wait until I can afford a mb/cpu upgrade, all in all however that's going to be a good couple hundred for what I want. But at least the cpu is now holding me back, whereas before it was the video card.
