ATI Driver Removal Tool

Googer

Lifer
I need an ATI Driver removal tool, I had unistalled the catalyst driver from ATI and I suspect that fragments of the old driver are still present in windows. I installed the OMEGA Driver and have not had any luck. Because every time I uninstall and reboot I get a screen that looks normanl. But every time I reboot after that the screens colours appear inverted. (blue looks green, etc). It does not matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall because it is the same story: Looks good after the first reboot, but every reboot after that looks inverted. There are severval ATI Driver tools, which ones are best. And where do you download it?

Also There are other 3rd Party Drivers for ATI, OMEGA said in an Interview that there was one other guy who was writng them. He said he really respected his work. I would like to try them if you know what I am refferring to. Please list some names of other ATI Driver Packages if you know them. I once saw list but forgot where it was since my bookmarks were wiped out.

THanks for the help.

NOTE: This is being typed in Safe Mode 16 Colour Windows, reminisent of the Pre Windows 3.1 Days.

Driver Cleaner (current Driver Cleaner 3) works well. I think ATI has a removal tool as well (although I've never had problems just using the regular uninstall with their drivers in the last few years).

There are a number of driver packages listed in the sticky in the Video forum. That would probably be the best place to inquire about specific driver revisions or variants.

They're up to Driver Cleaner Pro now, but yes, that's what I would recommend too.
