ati demo lost focus

hi.
I have a problem in that when i try run any of the ATi Directx9 demos (lava, dogs, gargoyle), my screen goes off, then after a while comes back on with a message saying "ati demo lost focus. click OK. Then restart the demo". when restarting the demo the same thing happens again. The thing is, this was working perfectly previously and only occurs when running the actual application, hence when i run it as a screensaver it works fine. anybody have the same prob or know of a solution??????

FYI.., i'm running a 9500np softmoded to 9700. This problem though, occurs when softmodded or not softmodded..........,

try reinstalling the drivers. FYI CAT 3.7 is out today!

Try uninstalling the demos then install cats before reinstalling those demos

the machine was actually formatted and re-installed and the problem is now still there. this was working fine previously, just one morning it was going fine, then i try it again later in the afternoon and works no more....., then formatted re-installed , same problem.......,

Are you using a powerline conditioner?

hmmm do you have the same prob when you try enabling or disabling aa and/or af?

This happened to me once, when I accidently tried to Alt-Tab uot.
