Pretty good read, thnx for the link. I'm still interested to see if ATI can unlock more performance through driver updates, which is possible, as long as there are no major hardware bottlenecks.

Yeah I'm curious as well, some of early results of the 5700s aren't very encouraging, particularly in a few instances where the 5770 actually loses to a 4850 when there doesn't appear to be any other reason for that to happen other than drivers (AT's results for Crysis Warhead for instance, whereas it actually performed better than a GTX285 as high as 1920x1200 with 4xAA on Far Cry 2...)
