I asked ATI about their AIW 9800 Pro wondering if there card
is able to convert VHS to DVD and received the following answer
back:

"ATI cannot advise you on recording to DVD because of legal copyright
issues. "

Now no where did I mention anything about copying movies, which
is not the only need to do so. Wonder how they feel their card is
worth +/- $400 when they don't even want to address its capabilities?

ATI wouldnt give me advice on the clock's of my card when I asked, due to "Manufacturer set specs".

Theres only one 92100 available to purchase, i dont think its that hard to give me the specs...
 
Yeah, that is a shame that they can't really comment about it (and it really doesn't make sense.. you could just be burning home movies).
