ATI Crossfire promotion

I'm building new system "crossfire ready". Now on Newegg I can get X850XTPE below $400 with $75 rebate. Should I get the card now or wait until crossfire mobos and master cards will be out? Do you think in September prices will go down more then this $75 on X850XTPE ?

If the card is just going to laying around unitl you get the mobo I would say wait. Video cards really never increase in price/value, so it makes no sense to buy a card that won't be used until later. Plus, by September, ATI may have rolled out R520...

Another vote for wait. I'd even just get an R520, because at this point in the game, Xfire is completely irrational and only halfway rational if you already have an X800-type card to begin with.
 
I say wait for R520.

NV made there 7800GTX kick the crap out of 2x6800s right? I'm sure ATI has the same goal. And if R520 is as fast as we think it is with 700MHz and all that, it should be demolishing 2x X850s ANYDAY.
