ATI color/britness settings resets after reboot or games

whenever I reboot or play games I have to goto the ATI/Color settings and re-apply the color/britness settings, they don't seem to stick. I'm using win2k/6025

Anyone know if this can be fixed ?

Interesting, With my color profile, the default Gamma is fine. Out of curiosity, I purposely ran it all the way down dark and played a couple minutes in Q3A and back to the desktop, Gamma was back to normal(fine).

I would assume it should hold that setting. I am also using 6025's but in XP. That would be a PITA if my gamma setting was not acceptable by default(like yours). I wonder if its the driver version?

very interesting indeed.... I hope that it's the drivers because it will hopefully be fixed.

The other weird thing is that after a game and I notice that the gamma has reset itself back to normal, I go into the ATI panel setting and it set's itself back to the setting I want. Also I can log off and log back in again and it wont change... go figure.

Ah man, this means that if I want my gamma settings, I have to go into the display properties everytime I boot or play a game.

Try changing the desktop resolution to the same one that the game uses before launching it.
