Quick question: I've been out of the computer assembly loop for a while: I was just wondering which of the more recent ATI chipsets can output 1600x1200 resolution DVI?

I personally own the very old AIW Radeon (only can output 1280X1024 DVI), and was looking for a new card to drive a samsung 213T or dell 2001fp digitally.

The ATI website doesn't seem to exactly specify. Only RGB resolutions and refresh rates. Not DVI specs.

Thanks in advance.

I have an 8500, and my max on the DVI is only 1280X1024 too. But then again, I think it is because my monitor can only support 1280X1024.

Any of the 9xxx and x800 should support that DVI resolution. I'm not sure about the really low end cards, but i'd be suprised if it wasn't supported. My 9700pro supports up to 16x12
