ATI cheats in UT2K3?

Actually, it's a problem with UT2K3.

Change DetailTexMipBias to -0.5 in the config file, and the detail texture problems are gone. When detailed textures are used, the mipmap detail is automatically reduced, and it's done by application. ATI follows "application preference" and gets accused of cheating for doing this =P.

... all while nvidia is forceing bilinar filtering for their anisostropy in ut2003 and all other d3d apps for the fx series and setting the ut2003.ini can do nothing to change this. the irony in that is overwhelming.

Dude, are you like using my alias without "aga" and putting super in the front? Please tell me you didn't like my alias and copied it or something.... up till now, I'm the only one using this alias....

Where is that IS guy? I guess he'll have to see my name somewhere in these "CHEATING" posts b4 he makes some comment.

I think thats something like the Voodoo5.

There is Multi-texturing and Mip Map Dithering.

You can't you both at once.
