ATI Catalyst Control Panel (CCP) question

I've tried CCC but for some reason Overdrive was missing (I do not have AIW by the way) so I uninstalled it and replaced it with the CCP (i.e. the one that doesn't use .NET) to enable access to Overdrive.

Although Catalyst A.I. is missing in CCP, is there any alternate way to enable it? Or is Catalyst A.I. already enabled by default? Either way am I missing out much in terms of performance?

Driver is Catalyst 5.11.

I think in Direct3D it's set to standard and in OpenGL it's disabled by default.

Instead of using CCC or CCP a much better option is to use ATi Tray Tools because it's even richer than CCC in terms of features but it has an absolutely tiny footprint.

Totally agree. CCC is hideous, bloated garbage. Why the hell ATI made that thing is beyond me. Its so unnecessary. Just use ATI Tray Tools..its very easy to use and its easy to make profiles with all the options including Cat AI. Unlike CCC, ATI Tray Tools is not bloated and ugly.

Catalyst AI is enabled by default. Just not the Advanced, which prolly isn't worth it anyway.

CCC is fine to me. Haven't tried ATI tray though.
