hot.

still waiting for those new omegadrivers....

the 6.5 omega drivers are a bit funky... it always prompts me to install drivers which I did, and its apparently missing a ini. file. o well.

hope the 6.7 omega drivers come =)

ATI ones are too bloated.

not that I know of. Initial testing revealed for me lots of bug fixing (can actually use centered timings with crossfire now!) but performance decrease for FEAR...BIG TIME.
Before my minumum all maxed @ 1680x1050 with 2xSSAA was 43. Now its 29! Ran multiple tests and it even felt slower. God dang it.

Oblivion I played for like 5 mins but it was indoors so ofcourse it was 100+ fps

I played Far Cry for 20 mins and was running pretty great considering I was using 14xSSAA 16xHQAF @ 1680x1050. Got like 45 fps average outdoors with about 30 min.

I'll run 3dmark05 and 06 and see how it affects my score.

Enhanced CrossFire? Support

This release of Catalyst® introduces Enhanced CrossFire? Support. The enhanced support allows for CrossFire? Alternate Frame Rendering mode for Direct3D applications to be forced on by setting the Catalyst® AI slider to the Advanced position. This enhancement is available for all Direct3D applications except for Direct3D applications known not to work with Alternate Frame Rendering.

Note: In rare cases, forcing Alternate Frame Rendering mode on may result in image corruption being noticed.

No more renaming .exe's.

Sadly.. I cant try them, as the x64 versions are not out yet.

Ahem...
I see your sarcasm...but will remind you that using benches helps diagnose driver problems. Running 3dmark06 just placed the last nail on the coffin on these drivers for me.

Don't be a jerk :p

Don't forget small performance drop is worth it if you get improved stability and bug fixes IMHO,3dMark06 should never be taken that seriously, real gaming is what you should use.

Hhmmm...I think I may switch back as well after hearing this. Makes Bf2 crash to desktop for me on occasion. Others seemed OK but DOD:S minimized on me but was fine after re-entering from toolbar. Anyone else have BF2 crashes from these?

Dang, I'm down to 723 fps at 1600x1200 in Quake 2. I was previously at 726 fps with the same settings. I guess it's back to 6.6.
