ATI Catalyst 5.8

I'm trying to use TV-out, but I can only get it to either have the image on the monitor OR the TV using the ATI Calalyst control centre....I can't use both the same time like I was able to do with my Fx5200. Is this possible to do with the X800XL? If so plz tell me how....I've tried using the wizard and all of its functions so many times....anyone know how to do it help plz

Obviously, you have it connected, so either:

*Right Click on the ATI icon in the tray and pick "Extend Desktop" on the secondary display menu

OR:

*Right Click Desktop>Properties>Settings Tab>Click on the secondary display icon "2">down below make sure a supported resolution is displayed (Ex: 640x480) set color quality to (32bit) and check the box "extend windows desktop onto this monitor

OR

*Bring up ATI CCC in "advanced View" (from the View Menu)>Displays Manager>You should see your TV icon in the box labeled "Attached displays currently disabled">Click-drag it and drop it into the empty box to the right of the Main Display Icon>You should now see a little menu with choices for enabling the TV>Pick the monitor setup you want (extend, clone, span...)>OK at the bottom and you should be good to go.

Hmm, well it looks right other than my Primary monitor is in the Left Pane, not the right like yours, I don't think that makes any difference.

Did you try either of the other methods?
