Title says it all. When will the final 4.7s come out? Will they include X800 optimizations to make the memory more efficient?

I can only speculate but would say they are due either this week or the next,as to XT800 optimizations?...I would expect some improvement for the XT800 but then only time will tell if I`m right or wrong .

I like how ATI gives tons of updates and release information. So say I downloaded and installed 4.6 and 4 hours later, 4.7 gets posted. Can't they give a friggen date!

ATi has been on a once-a-month schedule for that last year and a half, and to my knowledge they have never been late by more than 5 days, thought they have been a week and a half early (this past December). If it's been a month+five days after the release, install 4.6 because there's no telling when they will come out. If it hasn't been, wait til that point.

Yes.
The DD shows new as of 6/09/04, so wait until the 14th of July, then upgrade.

I have teh dna beta 4.7's and saw a huge increase in high detail games and in benchies like mother nature. I saw a small drop in older dx7&8 and OGL but the improvements otherwise are well worth it.

ATI drivers are released on wed. roughly a month apart. Look for them today. If not then it will be next wed.
