ATI capture + Nvidia for Games?

Hello,
I was curious, has anyone tired to use an ATI TV Wonder Pro with an Nvidia Geforce Ti440 card (or things that are basically the same) with each other? I need the ATI to do video capture/ channel surfing and the NVidia is what I play my games on. Will this work?

I have seen plenty of posts of problems installing TV Wonder with Nvidia graphic cards YMMV, just so you know.
