I personally find that stupid....Why should ATI stop supporting Intel? I think it is a bad business move to a company that was successful.

That being said...sounds like a kick arse card that I couldn't even begin to use the power of since I dont Game...Now if I could soft FireGL that biatch...then I would be a bit more excited...

sorry, the RD600 refers to the ATI chipset for motherboard, ATI graphic chip will of course continue to work on board using Intel cpu, but AMD will make sure there is some bottleneck issue.
The info was leaked by AMD oversee stuff, probably in South America, doubt if there's any english equivalent...

I don't think AMD would make some bottleneck issue when using an ATI card on an intel machine. That would just be stupid of them, it would be more of a pain to code the stuff to work that way than to not bother with it. Besides, if they get the money from the sales of the cards then does it really matter whether it gets used on an AMD or intel system to them? Probably not but that would be my guess.
