ATI all in wonder vs add on card

Looking at a new video card and wondering if it is better to go with an All in Wonder card, or to get a regular card and buy the TV/FM tuner that fits into a PCI slot seperatly? Want to stay less than $200, so the all in wonder 9600 looks good, but if I can get a better regular card and get the tuner elsewhere that would do the same thing, I would be happy.

I plan on gaming and recording television shows to hard drive/dvd from cable.

Thanks in advance

From my experience of using the All-in-Wonder Radeon, it has been pretty good one.
There are quirks with the software (ATI MMC), that one time cause my whole drive to be wiped out, but as long as you stay with the latest version you should be ok.

A couple things you might want to consider:
1. The All-in-Wonder cards all uses software decoding, so if you're recording it will use up some of your CPU's cycle (the faster your CPU is the less you will feel the effect).
2. If you're one of those people who upgrades your video card every so often, then getting a separate card would be better option.
