Ok here is the set up
MSI K7 master
athlon 1ghz 266fsb......not overclocked yet to eliminate that factor
ATI all in wonder radeon
sound blaster live 5.1 platinum
256MB crucial ram
40 gig ATA100 Maxtor
3com etherlink something or other NIC
Windows 2000 SP2
via 4 in 1 v1.432
AMD agp Miniport for win2k v5.22
direct X 8
ati 5.13.1.3211
Ok here is my problem.....all 3d games (unreal etc.) crash at some point...some times its better than others...I am rock solid when not playing games...can run prime95 for days....but I have tried multiple games and after a few minutes ...CRASH,,.,,,..the screen sometimes completly goes out and the sound will repeat a few seconds over and over.
I first installed everything with acpi and of course everything was on IRQ 11 for me (not like 9 that I hear from others)
Ok so I thought this might be the problem so I did a fresh install with "standard PC" ok and everything got it's own IRQ and I thought ok great now everyone will be happy and play nice.....
no luck the issue is still there....I am at my wits end.....updated all drivers and everything I could find short of firmware (as I couldnt find any updates)./....
Please help .....anything would be good at this point....
thanks
