Could anyone help me to solve my problems?
1. My computer cracks very easily in using ATI multimedia 7.0 especially when I'm changing the property of TV display and changing the capture format.
2. My VirtualDub cannot recognize the video created by ATI multimedia, so I cannot convert the movie into MPEG 4 format.
3. What is the best capture video format if I got Athlon 1G machine? It seems that I can capture 720X480 format only if I choose 0 B and 0 P frames (ie. I frame only). I'm frustrated in trying all the combination as the computer hangs easily as I have mentioned in question 1.
4. Could Virtualdub create video in SVCD format? If yes, when can I got the codec. Also, is SVCD better than MPEG4?
The following is my computer setup:
Athlon 1G TB (without overclock)
Asus mobo A7V with BIOS 1005c
256M RAM
46G IBM harddisk, 7200rpm with 2MB buffer, ATA-100
SB live value 2
WindowMe OS
VIA driver 4-in-1 ver 4.25
IRQ 10 for Video card, not sharing with others, Driver: 4.12.3056
