ATI All In Wonder pro problem

I cant capture in MPEG ....
Captures AVI and stills OK
TV window doesn't lock up and starts / stops OK
System:
Epox ep K7kxa/ Athlon 650@ 715 (110 X 6.5)
128 Mb RAM
Hacked Promise card, 2x 15 gb maxtor , mirrored
Netgear NIC
O/S WIN '98 (not SE)

Drivers are the latest (.6292 card, VIA drives 4.24)
Note:
perusing Usenet , I found a fellow with an Intel 815 chipset
with the same problem, so VIA is off the hook (this time)

Might be a bus-mastering problem. I had a similar problem with my PentiumII 300 which had a sucky board that did not bus-master correctly. Now I have a better BX board with a Celeron 550. The AIW has its own IRQ and works great. Good luck to ya
