hey all, currently i have a riva tnt2 32mb and a win-tv go board. the probelem is i cant upgrade to win2k with the win-tv board, ive tried several ways/several times. so my resolution is to get an ati all in wonder rage 128, agp 32mb. is this a good idea or ? any opinions are welcome. also will this be any better/worse than my current board for 3d games? thanks everyone.;)

If you're going to upgrade to something with a tv tuner, you may as well go with the All In Wonder Radeon instead of the Rage. You'll get the extra speed increase as well as stable, Win2k drivers.

It's a good card, I have one, as far as a TV tuner all in one card, this is the one you want. Getting it working under 2K can be a bitch though, but it does work once you figure it out.

The Radeon is going to give you a serious performance boost in 3D games, but the cost increase is large as well. I currently have the 16 Mb ATI AIW Rage 128 (not pro) and I love the card. I have not had to set it up under Windows 2K however, so I cannot help you there. It has been my experience that downloading the newest drivers from ATI's website for your OS is key.

yes it will do 3d win win2k but dont expect it to blow you out of the water... your looking at 40-50 FPS MAX with the 128 Pro in most games. Even less with the regular Rage 128.
