I just wish Anand would use the 9700 in there other reviews instead of the GF4. What gives with that? Every mobo review they do uses the GF still, and that's for gaming too. I know what the GF 4 can do and the differences, and frankly I don't care. I just wonder what's going on with that.
I have read over in the New Articles Forum that the Video card is not the bottleneck, so that's one reason they haven't changed. Just my opinion, but if I'm doing reviews of the best, latest, bleeding edge products, I'm surely going to pull out the best video card I can find. I think ATI deserves this.
And when NV 30 comes out, if that video card is in the "New Reviews" I'm going to be waving a BS flag.

I can't believe this card is only $50 list more than the vanilla 9700 Pro. Now I'm upset I rushed out and bought the 9700. :| :(

It has to do with the number of cards we have available; we have far more Ti 4600s to seed our reviewers with than we have Radeon 9700s. With that said however, I will be using the 9700 in a review I'm working on for next week.

Take care,
Anand

NV30 anyone? Or, Granite Bay/HT P4?
