Hello, Im in a fix about which to get... the 128mb version, or the 64mb version (which Ive only seen the DV variety). Do they make a big difference in terms of speed/features/ pricing?

thanks,
john

there is only one 64mb flavor and that's the 8500DV
the DV stands for Digital Video (it's a firewire port).

I'd only get the DV if you want a quick firewire port
to use but if not get the 128mb one and then you'll
have the option of just getting a firewire card later
on if needed

the all in wonder 8500dv has 64ddr and features firewire/iLink ports which is pretty handy for using with dv camercas and video cameras. it aims for digital video and video editing.

the all in wonder 8500 128drr version has a faster core speed and higher memory speed, and has all the features of all in wonder 8500dv except the firwire/iLink. As its fast core speed and high memory speed, it's very good in playing video game beside video editing. it aims for both video editing and gaming.

has all the features of all in wonder 8500dv except the firwire/iLink.

And it has the same analog tuner as the AIW 7500 rather than the silicon tuner chip of the 8500dv.
