Hi.
I just bought this ATI AIW X800 XT and I can't find any program that gives me the temperature readings.

ATI's own CATALYST Control Center doesn't help much at all, because when I hover my mouse over the tray icon it says 0 celcius.

I tried ATITool and ATT, and both did not show the temperature at all. I just want to see the temperature of my card, because it seems to run a lot hotter than my pervious BFG 6800 NU. Would appreciate it if one of you techies can help me with this dilema.

Has Cataclyst 5.4 CCC.
Fresh installed of everything yesterday, because that is when I started using this awsome card.

Sorry I don't have an answer, but how is the card working out for you?

I just bought one and am anxious to get it in.

This card is awsome!
I can play Guild Wars at maxed out LCD settings and still be very smooth! CS:S also won't lag now even with maxed out settings! I'm really happy with the card. The down fall is no temperature monitor? Also the software/drivers are much slower to load than Nvidiass. I kinda prefer Nvidia drivers still. Don't know what to do with all these extra features! lol.
When I benchmark the card it kicks the fan into high gear and everytime I think about it I really want to see the temps. Also makes my PSU hotter than the BFG 6800 OC i used to have.

I obtained 5612 3DMarks with 3DMark05.
Microsoft Windows XP

K8V SE Deluxe
2x512 HyperX PC3200 (2-3-2-6)
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 2203 MHz | FSB 200 MHz - (stock AMD 64 3200+)
Stock cooling / no overclocking for any component.

ATITool
This last line on the page mentions temp monitoring for the AIW X800

How is the video capture with the X800?
I have a AIW9600, and I am looking for maybe something with better image quality.

Yea i have that tool installed and ATT and ATI's own Cataclyst CCC. None of them will show the temperature.
I have no idea why, but it just doesn't.
Perhaps the ATI Tool can't do AIW X800 XTs yet, but it doesn't make sense since I don't think there is a regular X800 AIW.

I havne't done anything with the card except install the software/drivers.
I won't until after these stupid exams are over. Right i'm now i'm overloaded with over due homework, currently active homework, and upcomming exams.

Edit: OMG i'm still awake. I hate writing essays. Sigh only <1hr 30min of sleep today i guess.

That sucks. I am in finals week now. My essays were due last week, I had an exam this morning as well. Just have Tuesday and Friday left. I can't wait for this stupid semester to be over.

Also, is your card AGP or PCI-e?

Ok cool. The one I ordered is AGP as well. Just wondering what motherboard I should get later on since I am wanting to get an A64.

Heh you should make a new thread in the other Anandtech forum catagories.
I would suggest a motherboard that has the nforce chipset. I prefer those over the VIA chipsets.
