Which of the two is better for capturing and video editing? Please share your experience with the board. Thanks.

I vote for AIW Radeon. I have recorded several TV shows for later viewing. Haven't tried editing and importing home movies yet, but it is more than capable.

G400 is best for true-DualHead and maximum 2D quality. Radeon is good but better at games than a Matrox. I personally won't be buying any ATI cards for a while longer. Still feeling the RAGE/driver pain.

I've recently been contemplating the same thing. I can't really tell you which is the better choice for you as I don't know your situation but for me it was the radeon aiw. Why? mostly cuz the radeon is the newer chip and traditionally the ati aiw line has been very good. Matrox may have a better solution in terms of video quality but i'm also interested in the gaming performance too for which i feel the radeon is superior to the g400. Also the idea of the tv-on-demand (tivo) sounds pretty cool.

I've been reading a lot on the forums at rage3d.com, check it out, lot of good people and good info over there.

Anyone have a link to a forum on g400's?

I've been looking into these two cards as well. It seems ATI doesn't have good support for drivers, so does anyone have experience how it goes with ASUS A7V MB and Athlon CPU? I also don't really want ATI because it seems that ATI doesn't have a remote control (for lazy people like me :p) BTW, anyone know what's the major difference between G400-TV and G450e-TV? Thanks.

I had the Marvel for about a year. I copied video from my Canon camcorder and edited it, then burned some cd's. It looked great.

I now have the AIW Radeon. Have done the same thing. Works as well as the Marvel if not better. Was easier with this however.

With Both products, the dvd and tv work great. The dvd played much smoother with the AIW.

Overall, I would get the AIW, newer technology, if you can call it that, and MUCH better gaming.
