ATI AIW Radeon 32MB - no picture/signal during capture

I'm having a problem getting any kind of signal when capturing from a source like VCR or camcorder. I did get it to work at one point then stopped working. I have the latest Catalyst drivers as 8/25 and XP shows all the WDM devices (6). Also tried a few A/V cables but thinking it's a cable issue. Very frustrating with not a lot of options on troubleshooting this. Any help is appreciated.

I hate to send this back to Canada! First time I need to RMA something in Canada.

Can you capture from the tuner? Are you trying to capture pre-recorded tapes from a VCR? Have you tried Vdub, or another 3rd party capture utility? Are you capturing sound but no video?
