hey i was wondering if the output is any different on the tv with these two cards, considering that the TV is always a lesser resolution than television screens, i was wondering if this would make a difference?
im guessing the only difference is teh graphics acceleration?
thanks guys

1. GPU
2. Memory (32MB DDR vs. 64/128MB DDR2)
2. Decoder engine is better on the 9700 which is if I'm not mistaken one or two generation higher than the AIW 32 DDR.

For TV-out:
Basically the AIW 9700pro is a dual RAMDAC card, so it supports concurrent analog displays (CRT + TV Out and features like "Theater Mode") while the AIW Radeon 32 DDR is a Single RAMDAC card, meaning "Clone Mode" for TV out, or setting the TV display as "Primary"

The AIW9700pro also supports Native YPbPr output for higher resolution support for TV-out.

Other wise, the TV output capabilities are essentially the same with s-video and composite analog outputs, as well as s/pdif digital output support.

There are of course feature advantages as far as the video pipeline is concerned as well, which ultimately have an impact of "what" is output via TV out.
