Johnbear007 is right. That's exactly why I bought a Built-by-ATI card. 3 year warranty from ATI. No need to worry about retailer you buy it from.

Hell yes. After I RMAed my card, they sent it back with a letter saying it is now covered 5 years from date of purchase.

"UPDATE - I have reduced my total cost for the AIW 9800 Pro to $250. Since I was charged for the Radeon 9800(non-pro) version and since Best Buy is having a sale right now on the Radeon 9800 non-pro for @250.00, I got the Radeon 9800NP at Best Buy and returned it to Circuit City. My brand new retail All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro card now has a total cost of $250.00."

Does anyone else think there something wrong there beside me, or is fruad and theivery now an acceptable means for getting a good deal?

guys stop being such dicks. the guy got a good deal. you would be doing the same thing had you scored this deal. and no, there is nothing wrong with getting this for 250. except morally.🙂

So I got the full blown ATI AIW 9800Pro retail card with the remote control and all of the accessories for the price of a 9800 non-pro card. Kick-ass.

Doesn't CC have a 110% price match gurantee? So that all you would have to have done was told them (with your receipt in hand) that BB has it for $250.00 USD and CC would have given you something in the neighborhood of $55 bucsk back?

Either way you got a pretty golden deal. So long as all that karma mumbo jumbo stuff isn't true, it shouldn't come back and bite you in the butt (in any mysterious way).

Enjoy!
