so, i posted in the tech support forum about this issue a little earlier HERE. it turns out that for some reason the AIW 9700 Pro just wont work with my mobo for some odd reason...anyways, why i posted here is to get som suggestions on a video card and a seperate capture card. someone i was talking to suggested a Pinnacle capture card. as far as price range of the two combined, i'd like to keep it around the price of the 9700 Pro, so about $200-$230. any suggestions would be appreciated!!

ok so i read the reviews on newegg and it appears Pinnacle sucks...

so im thinkin about the WINTV-PVR250....any comments on that??

now i just need a suggestion on a video card. thanks!

Hmmm...Your problems baffles me. I have the K8ns-Pro motherboard and the 9700AIW Pro and it worked just fine. I have a thermaltake 480W power supply. I just built a computer for my sister and had a video card problem, so I put the 9700 (she has an Antec case with a 350W PSU, so you two probably have the same case, or at least very similar) and the 9700 worked just fine. It might be interesting to swap in another video card if you are able to do so, and install the latest drivers, and such and see if that cures it. Plus, make sure that your card is hooked up directly to the PSU and use the splitters to power your HD, or whatever it is that needs power.
