I have a weird issue with my Built By ATI 9600 AIW. I have my monitor set to turn off after 10 minutes of idle. However, if I use ATI MMC 9.2 to watch TV, my monitor will not turn off after 10 minutes of idle, it just flashes black for a quick second every 10 minutes and returns back to the desktop. I have to reboot the computer for things to be normal again. Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this or know what might be causing it?


The monitor is a 17" Sony LCD.

 
I have a similar problem with MMC. It really does not like to be put into the "background". On WinXP when you change users if you do not shut off MMC first, MMC will hang and the only solution is to reboot.
 
I really dislike the MMC program, I used to use dscaler with a tv wonder and I wish dscaler would come out with a new version that supports the all in wonder cards.
